NewOrgan Prize

Announcing: NewOrgan Prize
Our newest prize will be awarded to the first research team who successfully construct and transplant a whole new organ made from a patient's own cells.

The Latest in a Series of Initiatives

Methuselah Foundation is taking the lead in supporting and inspiring scientific breakthroughs to extend the healthy lifespan. To accelerate and publicize the work in tissue engineering - a key component of Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senecence (SENS) - we have established the NewOrgan Prize. To win this prize for creating immune identical replacement organs, scientists must also develop all the tissues that build organs including muscle, nerves, arteries and veins. The impact that this will have on extending healthy human life is certain to be extremely significant.
